SFB 873 - Stem Cell Conference
On behalf of the Steering Committee of the Collaborative Research Center (Sonderforschungsbereich) 873 “Maintenance and Differentiation of Stem Cells in Development and Disease”, may I extend a cordial invitation to you to join us at the upcoming symposium to be held from July 12 to July 13, 2013 at the Kommunikationszentrum, German Cancer Research Center, Heidelberg, Germany.
The main theme of the conference in on “Stem Cells in Development and Disease” and serves as an interactive forum for basic researchers and clinician scientists from academic institutions as well as from the biomedical industry in the field of stem cell technology.
The Collaborative Research Center, SFB873, was established in July 2010. The goal of the SFB873 is to define the regulatory principles underlying the balance between stem cell maintenance and differentiation in diverse organisms on a mechanistic level. By comparing divergent and conserved modules of stem cell control across the kingdoms of life, our SFB will fundamentally advance the understanding of the principles and molecular mechanisms that control stem cell function during development, homeostasis, injury repair and disease.
Please register here. Attendance is free of charge.
We look forward to welcoming you to Heidelberg.
