German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ)
The Deutsches Krebsforschungszentrum (German Cancer Research Center, DKFZ) in Heidelberg has a worldwide reputation of excellence in basic and translational cancer research and is one of the leading centers in that area. The DKFZ is a member institution of the Helmholtz Association, which is Germany’s largest research organization. The DKFZ provides modern state-of-the-art laboratories and offices. The DKFZ and the University campus provide probably some of the best core facilities within Europe, including animal facilities, microscopy services as well as genomics and proteomics facilities.
